A Giant Soccer Ball
There are only few other sports that can equal soccer in terms of popularity. Busch vacuum pumps oil mist problem?
I have a vacuum packer that is running a Busch pump. I am getting oil mist coming out of the exhaust. Does it just need a new demist filter or is there any other reason that could make it exhaust oil?
I'm not familiar with Busch pumps as such, but there are basically 2 different types of vacuum pumps:
Oil - less rotary claw, or oil-less rotary vane, or oil-less diaphragm vacuum pumps.
Oil - lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps.
If your pump is of the latter kind, then that could explain the oil mist in the exhaust.
Another possibility is that the item you try to vacuum-pack has oil residue on (or in) it.
