Ok, so if a girl or guy was really interesting, i.e. musically talented, intelligent or whatever, but not attractive would you want to date them and why?

Yes, I would, and I have.
Reason? Well, I guess for me it was always more important that a guy be more than attractive. Sure, I dated some guys who were attractive, but the more I got to know them, the more I'd realize that beyond the good looks, there was really nothing about them that made me want to be with them. But a person that has something else going for them--whether it's intelligence, some kind of talent, or whatever, well, that person is just more fun to be around, and there's more to build a relationship upon, even if they aren't attractive.
